Innovative Features:

Autopilot and Precision Navigation

The Deeper Quest’s autopilot is not just a convenience but a testament to the technological prowess of its developers. With an average deviation within the sub-meter range, it ensures that anglers can explore waters with confidence and precision.

CHIRP Sonar Technology

The integration of the flagship CHIRP sonar sets a new standard in sonar clarity. It allows for target separation of up to 1cm/0.4in, making it easier to identify and locate fish with surgical precision.

Bait Delivery System

The silent triple bait delivery system is a marvel of engineering. It can handle large PVA bags and deliver up to 2kg/4.4lb of bait, equivalent to seven large spombs, all while maintaining stealth during operation.

Durability and Safety

The Deeper Quest is equipped with brushless, protected motors and weed protection for its water inlets and propeller outlets, ensuring silent and powerful propulsion. The Active-Vent system safeguards against humidity damage, while the Stealth mode allows for quiet operation under the cover of darkness.

User-Friendly Control

The remote controller is designed with simplicity in mind, allowing for one-handed navigation and freeing up the angler to focus on the fishing itself. The magnetic quick-release feature and the mechanical quick-release mechanism add to the ease of use.

Performance in the Field

Taking the Deeper Quest out for a spin, it becomes apparent that this bait boat is not just about the bells and whistles. Its performance on the water is smooth and reliable, with the autopilot holding a steady course even in choppy conditions. The sonar readings are crisp, and the bait delivery is consistently accurate, making it a valuable asset for any fishing trip.

User Experience: The Good, the Not-So-Good, and the Upcoming

The Deeper Quest is making waves among early users, and their voices are shaping the conversation. Kudos to the GPS for its pinpoint accuracy some have found spot-on. However, others have noticed a slight variance, with precision drifting within 1-2 meters.

There’s a buzz about the missing electronic anchor feature, which has the community eagerly awaiting its future rollout via an app update. On the hardware front, a few users have pointed out a minor hiccup with the remote control joystick—holes that might affect its long-term sturdiness.

Signal strength has tripped up some users, with the boat heading home unexpectedly when it’s about 100 meters out of reach. Lastly, there’s a call for a more streamlined way to handle saved waypoints, as current methods feel a bit like digging through old records.

Conclusion

Explore the Deeper Quest, an advanced autonomous bait boat that’s changing the fishing landscape with its innovative technology. Featuring precise autopilot navigation, CHIRP sonar, and a silent triple bait delivery system, the Deeper Quest offers modern anglers a robust and user-friendly companion. Priced at €1999, it combines durability and performance, though some users note areas for improvement like the joystick durability and waypoint management. 1. I have only 2 issues with the boat. I was one of the first to get my hands on one of these and at first I was really impressed as the amount you get for your money. But once I used it I loved it it was everything I wanted and more. But then I wanted to take some bait out to a point drop the bait and save that point. Well it’s not easy as you have to click on save place then zoom in on map and try to put the arrow over the marker all the time your trying your boat is drifting off somewhere else and you can’t zoom in enough to be accurate and you either give up or settle for somewhere near. The next bad point is my boat broke down all the lights stopped working and all I could do was email and wait 24 hrs for a reply. That’s ok if you’re not in France using your boat on its first maiden voyage for what you bought it for. In the end I gave up on the boat and had to use markers deeper just weren’t there. They say on there website 24/7 help and that’s just not true. To be fare they did arrange for boat to come back to them but then more head ache as when the boat got sent back to me it went missing with ups and also ups wanted £65 taxes and I’m the one there chasing as even they can’t get reply from deeper. So I have to pay the taxes I have to sort out the mess. And in the mean time deeper and there 24/7 help we’re no where again. In the end I waited 48 hours for a reply from them. And by that time I got email back saying what I already know. So there are a few big issues that need sorting with deeper as to the so called 24/7 help and the save locating badly needs an up date. I would still recommend this boat because if they can fix these issues then it’s an outstanding future

    • I’ve noticed that many Quest owners in the group have shared various issues they’ve encountered. It’s important to remember that with any new bait boat, some problems are to be expected. It takes time to work out the kinks, and I’m hopeful that Deeper will address these concerns and enhance our overall experience.
